Lynnette maxine (Avelsgard) Lundgren Obit

LYNNETTE MAXINE (AVELSGARD) LUNDGREN passed away Sept. 17, 2026. She was born Jan. 28, 1945 in Crosby, to Julian and Mardelle (Abear) Avelsgaard. Lynette grew up in Brainerd and graduated from Washington High school in 1963. She attended the local Jr. College before starting at BRHSC (State Hospital) where she worked for 30+ years. She married Wally on Aug. 27, 1966 in Brainerd, where they raised their five children. Lynette had a great love for Jesus, her church (Oak Street Chapel), her husband and family. She is survived by her husband Wally of 60 years. Her children Brian (Christine) Lundgren, Heather Lundgren, Rachael (John) Rahto, Shannon (Bob) Gardner, Chris (Beth) Kray. Her most cherished loves, her grandchildren: Alex Lundgren, Amy (Dustin) Wynn, MiKayla Rahto (Corey Hannahs), LizAnn (Aaron) Schultz, Amanda (Andy) Vogtlin, Casey Rahto (Joe Lueck), Haydein, Jaxson, Arrionna Gardner, Naimah, Jazzmyn Kray; great- grandchildren, Austyn, Leah, Elenor, Elaine, and expecting two more blessings in Spring of 2027. Sisters Kathy (Mike) Badger, Pam (Mike) Anderson, Sister in laws Janet Almquist, Karen Novitzki and brother-in-law Keith (Glee) Lundgren She is preceded by death by her parents Julian and Mardelle Avelsgaard and brother Julian (Chip) Avelsgaard. Services will be held Friday, Sept. 25, at Oak Street Chapel with visitation at 11 a.m. and Service at noon with a meal following in the fellowship hall.
