Robert T. Hillerud Obit

ROBERT T. HILLERUD, 90, USAF, Retired, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019. A Crosby native, he enlisted in the Air Force in January 1952. He was a pilot and flew B-29s, B-47s and C-130s. He was a command pilot with 4,500 hours of flying time and a veteran of 50 combat missions flown in Vietnam. Among his numerous military decorations are the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal and the Meritorius Service Medal.
