ALAN GAYLORD VAN HORN, 59, of Deerwood, died on June 30, 2023 at his home. 
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Aug. 5, 2023.  Full obituary will follow. 
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.

John "Jack" William Couture Obit

JOHN "JACK" WILLIAM COUTURE, 88, died peacefully at home surrounded by family in Crosby on June 27. He was born in Ironton on March 7, 1935 to Stanley and Marian (Krause) Couture. He married Juliann Thompson Sorum on May 19, 1968.
Jack was a high school band director in Pelican Rapids for 34 years before retiring in 1991. After retiring, Jack and Julie split their time between Deerwood and Mesa, AZ. He was a devoted husband to Julie and together they loved traveling the world. His family will remember him as a witty storyteller who was always willing to help others.

Nancy Ann Archibald Obit

NANCY ANN ARCHIBALD, 91, of Baxter, died on July 1, 2023 at her home.  She was born in St. Paul on Sept. 11, 1931.
She lived and worked all over the country.  As a very young child she lived with her parents in a cabin in Finland, MN and later lived and attended school in Duluth. Her family moved many times for her father’s job.  She graduated from high school in Richland, WA.
