BLAINE WALLACE STIMAC, 59, of Brainerd, died on March 28, 2023 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  He was born on Aug. 20, 1963 in Crosby to James and Janet (Newstrom) Stimac.  He  was employed as a mechanic and small engine repair person in Crosby.  
Preceding him in death are his parents, James Stimac and Janet Fultz.
He is survived by his step-daughters, Sierra Oustad and Kayla Moose both of Brainerd; his brother, B. James Stimac of Seattle, WA; his half-brother, Brett Stimac of Brainerd; half-sister, Brandi Stimac of Deerwood and three grandchildren.

SUSAN MARY AGUTOWICZ, 78, of Deerwood, died on April 1, 2023 at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.  She was born on July 4, 1944 in Minneapolis to Robert and Mary (Carlin) Beam.  Sue married Gary Zgutowicz on Sept. 21, 1968 in Minneapolis.  She was a member  of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby and volunteered at the Cuyuna Range Food Shelf.  
Preceding Sue in death are her parents and a brother, David Beam.

Patricia Luella Saxum Obit

PATRICIA LUELLA SAXUM, 89, passed away peacefully in her home in the early hours of Feb. 15, 2023.
Patricia was born on April 3, 1933 to Owen J. and Christine Swanson (Graff). She was educated in Pillager before transferring to Washington High School in Brainerd, where she became fast friends with Joan and Jean Hoeft, who would later become her roommates in Minneapolis. After graduating in 1951, she moved to the big city to work for Aetna-Life Insurance.

ALLEN WILLIAM WINK,   83, of Deer River, formerly of Brainerd, died on March 13, 2023 at the Essentia Health Deer River.  He was born on April 24, 1939 in Arlington, SD to William and Eva (Klindt) Wink.  He was a retired U.S. Marine Corp veteran.  Allen married Marcia Wood on Jan. 12, 1963 in Minneapolis.  He was a retired owner of Wink Construction.
Preceding Allen in death are his parents and two grandchildren.

William "Bill" M. Van Donsel Obit

WILLIAM "BILL" M. VAN DONSEL, 79, of Emily  passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023. Bill was born on Dec. 11, 1943 in Minneapolis. He attended Milaca High School. Bill worked for Waco Scaffold and Equipment for 43 years and was known as Waco Willie.
Bill was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and card player. Bill was a storyteller like no other and loved an audience. Jody and Tammy were watching Gunsmoke with Bill when he passed away. He loved spending time at the lake, fishing, hunting or anything outdoors with his family and friends.

IRMA ALBIE GAGNON, 95, formerly of Crosby, died at her daughter’s home in Kinnickinnic, WI on March 7, 2023. She was born on Feb. 6, 1928, to Isaac and Ida Talvitie at home above Talvitie’s Shoe Shop on Main Street in Crosby.
