The Cuyuna Iron Range Heritage Network will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library in Crosby at 6 p.m.

Friday Study Club to meet Dec. 6

The Friday Study Club will host its annual Christmas Tea at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library on Friday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m.  Members are encouraged to invite guests.
The reader will be Christine Olson. 
Hostess is Doris Carlson assisted by Joan Hasskamp, Kay Johnson, Sally Mann, and Barbara Ukura.

Women's Club to meet Dec. 2

Nature and wildlife photographer, Mark Harlow, will be the featured speaker at the Cuyuna Range Women's Club meeting on Monday Dec. 2, at Cascade Methodist Church in Deerwood. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Please note the new location for this month only!
Harlow is a national award winning photographer. His photograph titled Sidewinder Eagle was awarded the People's Choice Award by the Outdoor Writer's Association of America in 2010. Another one of his photos appeared on the cover of Outdoors Unlimited magazine. He is a member of the Nikon Pro Staff.

All Cuyuna Lakes residents are encouraged to celebrate the fellowship of the holiday season at A Cuyuna Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Heartwood in Crosby as it comes alive with thousands of twinkling lights.

See what the Cuyuna Range has to offer by taking part in the 12th Annual “Girls Night Out on the Cuyuna Range” shopping experience on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Crosby, Ironton, and Deerwood!
Here’s how it works: Visit at least 12 of the participating businesses between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 5. Browse, shop or just stop by and get your Girls Night Out card stamped at each business. You must fill your entry form card to qualify—which means you visited/shopped at least two businesses in Deerwood and two in Ironton.

Santa and Mrs. Claus to visit Crosby Dec. 8

Main Street Nutrition at 209 West Main Street in Crosby will be hosting Santa and Mrs. Claus on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come see Santa and Mrs. Claus, take a picture and help the children enjoy the activities planned for them.
Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Cuyuna Range Food Shelf.
A shake and tea bar will be open for the event.

 

 

Toys for Kids Drive at Jacobs Realty

Jacobs Realty in Crosby is participating in the Toys for Kids drive now through Wednesday, Dec. 18. Toys may be dropped of at the Jacobs Realty offices at the corner of Main Street and Third Avenue SW in Crosby between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
