WAYNE JACKSON BERRY, JR. entered into the loving presence of the Lord on Jan.16, 2025, at age 56. Wayne was born to Wayne "Jack" and Shirley Berry on Sept. 4, 1968, in Brainerd. As a child, Wayne loved the outdoors and continued through his life as an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman; never missing an opportunity to share his stories and experiences with others. His artistical talents were second to none, often being admired by his school art instructor, who attempted to convince him to have one of his drawings sent in to be considered as an option for the Federal Duck Stamp.

WEBB ELLIOTT NORTON, born to Ruth M. Johnson and King E. Norton on  Oct. 7, 1937 in Brainerd, MN. He passed from his earthly home in Portland, OR and entered God’s heavenly kingdom on Dec. 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Webb is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sharon Thoms Norton, and their sons: Mark Norton and wife,  Ronica, Gerald Norton and wife, Karen, and daughter, Amy (Norton) Kirby and husband Michael; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren blessed their lives. They raised their three children in the Deerwood area where Webb owned and operated Webb’s Jeans and Casuals.

Bonnie Jeanne Johnson Obit

BONNIE JEANNE JOHNSON, 86, of Deerwood, passed away at her home on Jan. 18, 2025. She was born to Elmer and Mabel Anderson on April 4, 1938 in Crosby. She was a 50-year member of the Walter Scott Erickson Post #557 Auxiliary Unit of Deerwood. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and the outdoors. She was preceeded in death by her parents; her first husband Robert DeCent, Sr.; and one brother Raymond Anderson.
