EUGENE A. WILLIAMS, 94, of Outing, passed away on May 16, 2026 at the Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth.   A Memorial Mass will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at St. Emily’s Catholic Church. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.

RICHARD "DICK" A. KLANCHER of Crosby passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025 at the age of 80, at his home in Crosby, cozy watching the fire in the fireplace and Serpent Lake begin the freeze over. He was born to Tony and Muriel (Coss) Klancher on May 27, 1945, in Hibbing. He graduated from Hibbing High School in 1964. He attended Hibbing Junior College and graduated from the Hibbing High School in 1964. He attended Hibbing Junior College and graduated from Salter Technical School (Duluth Area Vocational Technical School) in 1968.

PEGGY LOUISE HILLMAN, 68, of Deerwood, passed away at her home on May 20, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1957 in Brainerd to Frank and Charlotte (Harnois) Haney. She was united in marriage to Gary Hillman on May 8, 1976, in Brainerd, enjoying their 50th anniversary this year.   She was a member of the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. She had a love for gardening and sewing with her sewing group. She is survived by her husband, Gary; two sons, Zachary (Theresa) Hillman of Bovey and Jacob Hillman of St.

ROBERT JOHN WINDORSKI, JR., 72, of Pequot Lakes, passed away at Shilo Assisted Living in Pequot Lakes on April 8, 2026. He was born in Crosby on June 1, 1953 to Robert and Emilie (Frink) Windorski, Sr. He is survived by one brother, Dave (Wanda) Windorski of Brainerd; three sisters, Annie Olander of Bemidji, Nancy (Sheldon) Reese of Canon City, CO and Deanna (Rich) Asmus of Clearwater and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, Bruce Windorski. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from noon to 4 p.m.

PATRICIA "PAT" TWEEDY, 79, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Golden Horizon in Aitkin.   Pat was born in Dubuque, IA, on Oct. 15, 1946, to Dorrance and Corella Runde.  She has one older brother and five younger sisters.  In 1964 she graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School. She met Mike Killeen from Aitkin. They were married October 1968 at the Basilica of Saint Mary’s in Minneapolis.  Mike and Pat had two boys, Joseph Scott of Eagan and Thomas Michael of Inver Grove Heights.

GERALD "GARY" DE BOER, 83, of Aitkin, passed away April 20, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Born Nov. 14, 1942, in Pine River to Charles and Della (Carlson) DeBoer, he married Karen Anderson on Oct. 11, 1997, in Monticello. Gary retired after 37 years as a 5th grade teacher in the Monticello School District and was also a longtime Realtor for Wright Sherburne Realty. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby and volunteered at the Crosby Food Shelf. Gary and Karen enjoyed winters in Orange Beach, AL.

WILLIAM "BILL" EDWARD DANGERS, 73 of Aitkin, passed away on May 6, 2026 at his home. He was born on May 19, 1952 in Crosby to William and Laverne (Greenhagen) Dangers Sr. Bill was united in marriage to Vicky Kessler on May 27, 1978 in Iron Hub.   Bill was a retired employee at Graphic Packaging in Crosby with 35 years of service; he was a current chairman/supervisor with the Rabbit Lake Township Board for 17 years.  He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iron Hub, holding many administrative duties with the church.

Roberta Maxine Chapman, 97, of Arden Hills, died on Dec. 25, 2025 at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood. She was born July 19, 1928 in Kellerton, IA to Truman, Sr. and Lula Baker. She married Bernard Leroy Chapman on June 20, 1948 in Des Moines, IA. She was a secretary in Iowa government for 35 years and was a former owner of Rogers Lake Resort in Emily. After retirement, they moved to their lake home at Roger Lake and spent summers at the lake and wintered in the south, especially enjoying their time in Biloxi, MS. In 2016, they moved to Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.

MARVIN LEE TAYLOR, 84, of Irondale Township, passed away at home on April 30, 2026. He was born on Jan. 16, 1942 in Farm Island Township to Glen and Rose (Hinman) Taylor.  He married Audrey Kanne on July 18, 1986 in Brainerd.   He was a retired Machinist with Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Brainerd with 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife Audrey; one son, Shane Taylor of Ironton; one daughter, Christine (Steve) Riley of Brainerd; two sisters, Glenda (Stan) Pedenko and Lydia Corey; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Darlene Beth Carlson Obit

DARLENE BETH CARLSON, aged 87, passed into eternal glory on April 9, 2026. The youngest of nine children, Darlene, née Juntunen, was born July 16, 1938, in Brainerd, MN, to Jacob and Hilma Juntunen. Darlene Carlson, a native of Brainerd, Minnesota, graduated from Washington High School in 1956. Shortly after, she relocated to Minneapolis to embark on a new chapter of her life, where she met her future husband, Gerald (Jerry) R. Carlson. Their love blossomed, leading to their marriage on March 24, 1959. Jerry and Darlene’s union endured until Jerry’s passing in 2021.
