STACY ANN STALEY, 53, of Baxter, passed away from cancer at her home on April 18, 2024. Stacy was born in Columbus, OH on Oct. 14, 1970 to Michael Staley and Sandra Wgeishofski. Stacy cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her role as a wife, mother and grandmother but also worked outside the home. We will all miss her sense of humor and caring ways. Stacy is preceded in death by her father, Michael Staley; step-father, LeRoy Wgeishofski and sister, Desiree Staley.

Celebration of Life for Jean Sharp

A Celebration of Life for Jean Sharp who passed away on Oct. 27, 2023 at the age of 87, will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 4 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. We will be gathering to share our favorite memories of a life so deeply missed.

KEVIN KEELEY, 75, died April 3, 2024. He was born July 30, 1948 to Lambert and Rosalie Keeley and was a resident of Baxter. He was a graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School and served in Vietnam. He was a proud veteran. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad and went to school in Vermont for wallcoverings. He enjoyed exploring the state and being in the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cheryl Winzenburg and a niece, Brigid Lynam.

Michael "Mick" Scott Lind Obit

Michael “Mick” Scott Lind, 69, of Crosby, died on April 8, 2024.   He was born on Aug. 20, 1954 in Crosby to Clarence “Skip” and Marie (Eastham) Lind.  Mick married René Rude on May 1, 2004 in Crosby.  He was a retired Crosby Fire Fighter with 30 years of service and was a retired custodian for the Crosby-Ironton School District with 32 years of service. Preceding Mick in death are his parents; one daughter Jennifer Lee and step-son, Joshua Kalvser.

CRAIG ALAN HUXFORD, 59, of Ironton, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2024.  He was born in Mankato on April 16, 1964 to Gerald and Shirley (Burmeister) Huxford. He graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1982.  He was a former employee of Trus Joist Weyerhaeuser with 20 years of service. Currently he was employed with Anagram International in Eden Prairie as plant coordinator.  Craig found enjoyment in hunting, fishing and being at his cabin.

Ronald "Ron" Becker Obit

RONALD "RON" BECKER, 84, of Deerwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 10, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Manannah Township to John and Katherine (Hennen) Becker.  He graduated in 1957 from Eden Valley High School, Eden Valley  and then joined the U.S. Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1965. He married JoAnne “Jo” on Oct. 20, 1962. Ron’s greatest joy came from his family, especially in watching his grandkids grow and create their own families.  He enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of the spring, summer and fall tending to his beautiful gardens and yard.

DARLENE BARBARA CHRISTOPHERSON, 83, of Dilworth, formerly of Crosby, died at her home on March 28, 2024.  She was born in Crosby on Feb. 15, 1941 to Leslie and Irene (George) Lueck. She married Curt Christopherson on Dec. 19, 1981 in Deerwood.  For 28 years she was employed at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  She was a former member at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby and was an assistant Scout Master and Den Leader with Troop 100 of the Boy Scouts of America. Preceding her in death are her parents; one brother, Bob Lueck and one sister Carol Holland.

REV. NORDEAN "DEAN" A. STOLZ, 83, of Deerwood, died at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis on March 18, 2024.  He was born in Waseca on March 20, 1940 to Charles (Adeline) (Priebe) Stolz.  He married Janet Wilson in Pomona, CA on Feb. 18, 1961.   He was ordained a LCMS pastor with 43 years of ministry, pastoring congregations in Ogilvie,  Pana, IL, Crosby and Iron Hub. Preceding him in death are his parents; one son, Jeff Stolz and a brother, Norman Stolz.

Antonette "Toni" Patron Obit

ANTONETTE "TONI" PATRON, 83, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Brainerd.   She was born on Oct. 15, 1940 to Anthony and Hazel Domiano in Minneapolis.  She graduated from North High School in 1957.  As a young woman, she worked at Dayton’s in downtown Minneapolis; a job that she absolutely adored.  Toni met the love of her life, Ernest.  The couple married and raised five children in Deerwood.  Toni enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother until Ernie’s death in 1977. Toni worked for many years at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge.

LINDA LAURAINE LUNDQUIST LINTGEN, 77, of Circle Pines, passed away on March 30, 2024, at The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale. A May service is being planned.  A full obit will follow. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
