JOYCE RADEMACHER, 86, died May 8, 2020 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. She was an avid bowler in Crosby and a friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents, Alice and Walter Malloy and two sisters, Darlene Gates and JoAnn Gangestad.
She is survived by her three daughters and son-in-law: Lynne Paulson, Outing; Cheryl and Mark Hecker, Outing and Allyson Fenning, Park Rapids; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren;  14 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Malloy and Tom Malloy and one sister, Mary Maleski.

JUSTIN 'HOOCH' TURNER, 31 of Aitkin died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 at Riverwood Health Care Center in Aitkin.
A celebration of life will be Thursday, Aug. 6 at the 40 Club Convention Center in Aitkin. Visitation will begin at noon until the 2 p.m. service. Lunch and fellowship will follow.

BARBARA JEAN JOHNSON, 83, of Brainerd, died at her home on July 21, 2020.
She was born in Sioux City, IA on Nov. 8, 1936 to Phillip and Helen (Anderson) Lustig.  She was a retired secretary for Kampmann Sash and Door with 20 years of service. She was a former owner of the Emily Café.

EVELYN ANN SLOAN, 84, passed away March 01, 2020. Evelyn was born March 23, 1933 to George & Belinda Dinger in Deerwood, MN.  She married Lawrence (Pat) Eugene Sloan in 1955.  They had two sons:  Mark and Craig
Pat passed in 1977.
Years later she met Irwin (Sully) Sullivan.  They were together for over thirty years. Sully passed in 2012.

HENRY J. HUTCHISON JR., 83, of Merrifield died on July 25, 2020, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1936 in Detroit, MI to Henry and Amanda Priscilla Hutchison Sr.  Hutchison was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood.  He was an avid Crosby-Ironton High School athletic fan.  He loved a good story and enjoyed fishing for walleye.

EDWARD V. TALEEN, 97, long time St. Paul East Sider, went to join his family on July 10, 2020 and will be met by parents Edward J. and Alma Taleen, sisters Eva Cameron and Helen Sedlock and spouse Elsie Taleen.
He was a kind and caring husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed by his children and their spouses: Mary, Becky and Tony Gebhard, Mitch and Brenda Taleen, Bill and Jolene Taleen and grandchildren Maddie, Gavin, Katie and Shane, nieces and nephews.

LOUIS JOSEPH MAZAR, 92 of Crosby, formerly Cuyuna, died on July 16, 2020 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby.  He was born on Sept. 4, 1927 in Cuyuna to Nicholas and Katherine (Mikulich) Mazar. He was a WWII Army AirCorp veteran.  He married Delena Harrison on Sept. 26, 1948 in Crosby.  He was local iron ore miner with Pittsburg Pacific and Zontelli Brothers with 26 years of service. He retired from the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Maintenance Department with 10 years of service.  He was an avid fisherman and was a local fishing guide.  He was a member of St.

JEANETTE THERESA McGAUGHEY, 68, of Crosby, died on July 19, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 22, 1952 in Minneapolis to LeRoy and Agnes (Ramsey) Haines.  Jeanette was a retired employee of Grand Casino Mille Lacs with 22 years of service.
Jeanette is survived by one son, Shawn (Christina) Laughton of Pine River; Daughter-in-law, Shanon Laughton; four brothers, Wayne (Barb) Haines, Al (Bonnie) Haines, Darrell (Pat) Haines and Don (Maureen) Haines; two sisters, Rose Haines and Elaine (Murray) Barhorst and two grandchildren.
